Rangers fans react as Joe Aribo scores against Brazil

Joe Aribo has scored four times for Rangers this season.

Joe Aribo carried his fine Rangers form into the international break with a goal against Brazil.

Nigeria played Brazil in an international friendly on Sunday afternoon and Aribo opened the scoring. The match ended 1-1 with Casemiro equalising for the Brazilians early in the second half.

Aribo’s goal came on 35 minutes and it stunned the Samba side. The former Charlton Athletic midfielder stormed into the box and lashed home from close range to give Nigeria the lead.

It was his second international appearance for Nigeria. And he marked it with his second goal. Aribo’s game has gone from strength to strength since he made the move to Ibrox in the summer.

Rangers fans have been impressed by the 24-year-old’s dominant midfield displays. He has already racked up 16 appearances, four goals and two assists for the Gers.

Steven Gerrard appears to be a big fan of Aribo and uses him in most games. His goal against Brazil will do wonders for his confidence and convince Gerrard to keep him in the side.
