Rangers fans react as Jake Hastie joins Rotherham United on loan
Rangers have offloaded winger Jake Hastie as speculation of Ryan Kent’s return increases. Hastie has left Rangers to join Rotherham United on a season-long loan deal, the club’s official website confirmed on deadline day.
Hastie, 20, joined the Gers on a pre-contract agreement in the summer. He had scored seven goals in 18 Motherwell games to earn the move. Now, he is ready to head out on loan.
Before leaving Rangers, Hastie played twice in competitive games. He made his debut against St Joseph’s in the Europa League qualifying rounds and was then handed some minutes against East Fife in the cup.

Steven Gerrard has now decided he needs to pick up more first-team experience. The Scotland U21 international joins Rotherham in League One. The Millers are hoping to bounce back after their relegation last season.
And Hastie’s exit has led to a number of Rangers fans jumping to conclusions. There is a real sense of excitement that Kent could return before the window shuts. According to The Mirror, Rangers have had a £7m bid accepted by Liverpool for the 22-year-old.
Here are fans reacting to Hastie’s exit and discussing a potential Kent return.
