Rangers suffered a dismal 2-0 defeat to Aberdeen at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup quarter-final replay on Tuesday night – and many Gers fans have taken to Twitter to criticise midfielder Glen Kamara.
Kamara, 23, has excelled since joining Rangers in January on deadline day from Dundee. He had agreed a pre-contract agreement, but the two clubs organised an immediate move for the midfielder.
In his first six games, Kamara shone for the Teddy Bears. His passing and ability to dictate the tempo of play at the base of Rangers midfield has impressed manager Steven Gerrard.

But on Tuesday night, it was a different story. In the third minute, Kamara controlled a loose ball before looking to find James Tavernier with a simple sideways pass. But his pass was sloppy, and Niall McGinn capitalised.
Rangers never recovered from the mistake early on. Chances came and went – Ryan Jack hit the post, Alfredo Morelos had a strong case for a penalty. But Connor McLennan made it two in the second half.
The display was far from Rangers’ best, and was typified by Kamara going from hero to zero. Gers fans reacted on Twitter to the ex-Arsenal man’s display, criticising his efforts in the middle of the park.
Some claim Ross McCrorie should be given the chance to shine in big matches such as Aberdeen.
