Rangers are reportedly ready to offload winger Jordan Jones this summer after a disappointing 2019-20 campaign at Ibrox since his Bosman move from Kilmarnock – and Rangers fans have reacted on Twitter.
Jones, 25, joined Rangers on a free transfer last summer after agreeing a move to Rangers some time before that. A boyhood Rangers fan, Jones had secured his dream move in penning a deal at Ibrox – but it has not gone to plan.
The winger played just 14 times for Rangers throughout the 2019-20 season, with a red card against Celtic his most notable action in a Gers shirt. He then suffered a long-term knee injury, limiting him in terms of game time.

The Daily Record have now claimed that Jones has been informed by Rangers he will be allowed to leave the clubs. Michael O’Neill, with whom he worked with at Northern Ireland, is keen to take him to Stoke City.
Championship sides Middlesbrough and Blackburn – managed by Neil Warnock and Tony Mowbray respectively – are also interested in signing Jones as per the report. He has three years remaining on his contract.
Rangers supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Jones could be about to leave their club with Gerrard deciding against handing a second chance to Jones – and many have criticised their manager.
