Rangers fans react as club reportedly eye Bacuna
Rangers are reportedly considering a move to sign Huddersfield Town midfielder Juninho Bacuna this summer. The Curacao international has been strongly linked with Rangers in the past, and now, they could bring him to Ibrox. Rangers fans, though, are not excited by the Bacuna links.
The 24-year-old is in his fourth season with Huddersfield following a £2.6million move from Dutch side Groningen. He has since clocked up as much as 107 appearances in all competitions for Carlos Corberan’s side. His versatility is excellent, though he is naturally a central midfielder.
What are Rangers fans saying about Huddersfield midfielder Bacuna?
Last season, Bacuna played up front, on both flanks, in the middle of the park and even at right back. That is likely to have caught the eye of sporting director Ross Wilson. The Scottish Sun claim Wilson has pinpointed Bacuna as an option – with the versatile ace in the final 12 months of his contract.
Rangers do need additions following their defeat to Malmo in Champions League qualifying. They are a play-off away from Europa League qualification, but a poor start to the season has left fans pessimistic. Rangers fans have reacted on Twitter to the Bacuna reports.
