Rangers are reportedly set to make an offer for Anderlecht talent Francis Amuzu and are looking to take advantage of the club’s financial difficulty to sign the exciting Belgian – and Gers fans have responded on Twitter.

Amuzu, 21, has broken into the Anderlecht side over the past couple of seasons and despite his tender age, he has now clocked up 84 appearances in all competitions. But he has only managed to have a hand in 13 goals, scoring six and creating seven.

Rangers have a good relationship with Aberdeen having bought Kemar Roofe from Vincent Kompany’s side in the summer. Certainly, Roofe has since starred for Rangers since moving to Steven Gerrard’s side and now Rangers want another.

Dutch outlet Voetbal24 claim Rangers are keen to make an offer that Anderlecht ‘cannot refuse’. The report also states that due to Anderlecht’s financial issues, a decent offer from Rangers would be impossible to ignore as they look to ease their cash woes.

It is claimed previously by Kick GH that Amuzu is worth a huge £13.5million, and that Champions League side RB Leipzig are interested. Other reports suggest he has a much smaller release clause, and Rangers fans have reacted on Twitter to the news.
