Rangers fans react as Alfredo Morelos is dismissed yet again

Rangers were cruelly denied a battling points against Celtic at Parkhead, losing 2-1 to James Forrest’s 86th-minute strike.

Ryan Kent had earlier restored parity after Odsonne Edouard’s first-half opening goal.

The Gers played for over an hour with ten-men after Alfredo Morelos was sent off for the fifth time this season.

His off the ball incident was picked up by the officials and left Gers boss Steven Gerrard to rue what might have been.

The Light Blues played their part in an entertaining spectacle. Indeed, had they kept eleven men on the park the result might have been more positive.

Morelos’ discipline has cost Rangers time and time again though. Gerrard has some serious thinking to do during the summer when it comes to the Colombian.

His goals have proved vital to Rangers this season but if the club can land a substantial fee for him then he might be better off elsewhere.
