Ryan Kent helped inspire Rangers to a much-needed victory away to Aberdeen on Wednesday – and many of the club’s fans on Twitter were blown away by his display.
The Light Blues managed to record a 4-2 win in an all-action affair that saw both teams receive a red card, with Scott McKenna and Alfredo Morelos dismissed after a clash early in the second-half.
Steven Gerrard’s side remain six points adrift of Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic courtesy of goals from Morelos (two), James Tavernier and Jermain Defoe.
A win keeps the Gers realistically in pursuit of the title and now seem like the only challengers to reigning champions Celtic.

Morelos was the star of the show before his temperament once again got the better of him for his red card, but it was Kent who earned the praise of many supporters on social media.
Kent, who is on a season-long loan at Ibrox from Liverpool, is beginning to become a vital player for Gerrard’s team.
The 22-year-old was instrumental in both of Morelos’ goals with some direct running in Aberdeen’s half and looked a major threat going forward.
He is a winger with great technical ability and a common theme with Gers supporters is that they would love the club to sign him on a permanent basis.
