Rangers slipped to a disappointing 1-1 draw away to Hibernian on Friday night – and many of the club’s supporters on Twitter annihilated defender Connor Goldson for his performance.
The Gers are now seven points behind leaders Celtic in the league having played a game more and their slim title aspirations may have just ended.
Daniel Candeias put Steven Gerrard’s side in front in the first-half, as the visitors’ pressure on the Hibernian finally paid off and they were by far the superior team.
But Rangers fell to pieces in the second-half as an attacking force and Florian Kamberi made them pay with his goal to earn a point for the hosts at Easter Road.

Many Light Blues fans were fuming with Goldson for his display and he didn’t enjoy the best of times in the league draw.
The 26-year-old centre-back is an ever-present in Gerrard’s team and seen as the most reliable figure in the backline.
But he struggled up against the physicality and work-rate of Hibernian striker Marc McNutly, who certainly let him know that he was in for a tough contest.
Goldson may also feel he could have done better marking Kamberi for his goal, as he found himself with space in the penalty area.
Here are some of the Rangers fans ripping into Goldson:
