Rangers were held to a goalless draw at home to St Johnstone on Saturday afternoon in the Scottish Premiership – and some of the club’s supporters ripped attacker Daniel Candeias to shreds for his performance.
The Light Blues drew 0-0 at Ibrox at St Johnstone and it was a huge opportunity missed in the league.
Steven Gerrard’s side are second in the table and five points adrift of leaders Celtic, but it would have been just three points if they could have knocked over a team sixth in the league at home.
The Gers were once again guilty of being wasteful in front of goal and were severely hurt by the absence of suspended centre-forward Alfredo Morelos.
It seems like the Rangers title bid may have ended at the weekend and it would take a considerable collapse from Celtic now to reignite the race.

A selection of Rangers fans on social media were particularly angered by Candeias for his performance and was substituted off in the second-half by Gerrard.
The 30-year-old right-winger is renowned for his excellent work-rate and the endeavour if he gives to the team, but his final product continues to let him down.
He should have scored the winner in the St Johnstone draw and a lack of quality let him down under pressure.
