Ryan Jack netted a brace as Rangers comfortably brushed aside Ross County on Wednesday night.
Rangers beat Ross County 4-0 away from home to keep the pressure up at the top of the league. With Celtic only winning 2-0 against St Mirren, this result also narrowed the goal difference gap between the two Glasgow rivals.
Alfredo Morelos opened and closed the scoring to continue his fine start to the season. But Jack was the more unlikely goalscorer. He grabbed two goals in eight minutes to give Rangers a comfortable cushion going into half-time.
The 27-year-old found the bottom left-hand corner from outside the box twice. In this sense, his goals were much like his manager and mentor Steven Gerrard. Rangers fans believe Gerrard is squeezing the best out of Jack.
Gerrard is a big fan of Jack, who is a mainstay in the Gers midfield line-up when fit. The Scotland international now has three goals this season and will be looking to add more. Here are some Rangers fans reacting as Jack guided his side to an easy win.
