Ryan Jack opened the scoring in Rangers’ win at Hamilton Academical on Sunday afternoon.

Just seven minutes in, Jack put Rangers ahead. The ball bounced to the Scotland midfielder in the box and his low drive went through a sea of bodies and found the back of the net.

Ryan Kent later hit a double after Hamilton had equalised as Steven Gerrard’s men kept pace with Celtic. It was far from a polished performance but Jack’s individual display impressed the fans.

Jack has been in excellent form this season, picking up where he left off last year. His goal against Hamilton was his fourth of the season and his midfield performances have been as tidy and efficient as ever.

Gerrard rates Jack highly and he is a regular in the Rangers starting line-up. The 27-year-old once again received widespread praise from his fans after his midfield masterclass in a difficult match.

After the game, Rangers fans flocked to Twitter to talk about their star players, such as Jack and Kent. Here are the best tweets about Jack.
