Rangers bowed out of the Europa League last night at Ibrox – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were left questioning one tactical decision from manager Steven Gerrard.
Despite an excellent run this season in Europe, the Gers were knocked out in the Europa League at the last-16 stage.
The Scottish giants had secured a 1-1 draw away to Czech side Slavia Prague last week in the away leg.
Unfortunately, they suffered a 2-0 defeat on Thursday night in the return leg, as the visitors progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition.
Peter Olayinka put Slavia ahead with a first-half header, while Nicolae Stanciu finished off the contest with a stunning free-kick during the second half.
It was a match that really turned when Kemar Roofe was shown a red card on the hour for his extremely dangerous challenge, as his high boot collided with the goalkeeper and forced him off injured.
Rangers defender Leon Balogun soon followed him with a second yellow to leave the hosts finishing the game with nine men.

A selection of Rangers supporters on social media adore Gerrard after he recently helped them win the league title, but were amazed he didn’t use right-winger Ianis Hagi on Thursday night.
The 22-year-old attacker started in the first leg against Slavia, providing the assist for Filip Helander’s goal.
But he was left on the bench during the second leg, as the manager opted to use different attacking options.
Here are some Rangers fans discussing Hagi’s omission:
