Rangers fans divided over reported Lyle Taylor interest

Rangers are reportedly interested in Charlton Athletic forward Lyle Taylor – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have given mixed responses to the speculation.

Sky Sports reports that the Gers are eyeing the Championship striker ahead of the January transfer window.

The report details that Swansea City, West Brom and Sheffield Wednesday also share an interest in him.

Taylor will see his current deal with Charlton expire at the end of the season, which means teams could land him for a bargain price in January or even on a pre-contract agreement.

The 29-year-old has previously played in Scotland with Falkirk and Partick Thistle earlier in his career, but has spent the majority in England.

He’s managed five goals in nine appearances this season across all competitions and is currently trying to regain his form after returning from an injury.

A selection of Rangers supporters on social media have been discussing if Taylor would be a good fit at Ibrox and it seems there is a split in the fanbase.
