Rangers have beaten Ross County 4-2 this afternoon as Steven Gerrard’s men ran riot in their latest Scottish Premiership contest. After the game, it was Joe Aribo who came in for some praise from the club’s supporters on Twitter.
The Nigeria international opened the scoring for the Gers. Connor Goldson, Alfredo Morelos and Scott Arfield added other goals, with Harry Clarke and Jordan White scoring for the hosts.
Aribo has been a mainstay in the Rangers team since arriving from Charlton Athletic. He has played in a number of positions for the team and Gerrard clearly rates him.

During today’s game, he played in a midfield three and he was given a firm license to roam. He proved a constant threat and thoroughly deserved to score a goal.
The 25-year-old notched for the first time this season against Ross County and he’ll hope to register more goal contributions as the season progresses.
What have supporters said about Aribo?
It’s fair to say that some have been urging for more from the Nigeria international in recent weeks. This was a timely reminder of his quality, however, and ultimately a return to form.

Rangers face Celtic next weekend and this wasn’t a bad warm-up for them at all. It has been a relatively disjointed start to the campaign for the champions but this afternoon was far more like the Gerrard team fans have become accustomed to.
Supporters were desperately impressed with Aribo during today’s game. Here is what they had to say on Twitter afterwards.
