Rangers fans comment on Twitter as report offers Ianis Hagi update

There are plenty of Rangers fans on Twitter urging the club to make sure that they take up the option on Ianis Hagi’s loan, amid a report from the Evening Times suggesting that the midfielder wants to stay at Ibrox.

There had looked to be a question mark hanging over Hagi’s Ibrox future. Obviously, with so much uncertainty surrounding the resumption of the season, some may have feared that the January signing may have already made his final appearance for the club.

The Evening Times reports that Rangers agreed an option to make the youngster’s move permanent this summer. However, the report notes that there had been speculation that Hagi would prefer a move to Lazio with the Serie A side also interested in a deal.

But the Evening Times has provided an update that will delight plenty of Rangers fans. They have suggested that Hagi has reiterated to the club that he would like to stay at Ibrox beyond this season.

Hagi has shown glimpses of his quality since arriving during the previous window. He has bagged a handful of goals, and has certainly made an impressive impact.

And the report that he wants to stay has gone down extremely well amongst the Rangers fans on social media.

Several have suggested that the team should be built around him moving forward. And they have insisted that triggering the clause in his loan is simply a no-brainer.
