Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw away to St Johnstone on Wednesday night – but some of the club’s fans on Twitter were left amazed by a cameo performance from their star Joe Aribo.
Steven Gerrard’s side, who have already wrapped up the top flight title, maintained their unbeaten league record with their midweek result.
Scott Wright put the Gers ahead in the 55th minute with his goal, but hosts St Johnstone snatched a last-gasp equaliser in the 94th minute through Liam Crag’s penalty.
It was a preview ahead of another game between the two teams that takes place this Sunday, but this time it’s in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals.
As Gerrard opted to rotate his side, plenty of his key men received some rest ahead of the cup game.

Aribo, 24, is usually a starter in the XI, but he came on for a late 20-minute cameo against St Johnstone.
Despite only being on the pitch for a brief amount of time, the attacking midfielder caught the eye with some mesmerising moments of dribbling with the ball at his feet. He’s a flair player that has been one of several outstanding performers at Ibrox this season.
One supporter claimed on Wednesday that he’s got the “quickest feet in Scotland”.
Here are some Rangers fans discussing Aribo:
