Florian Kamberi has returned to the Scottish Premiership to play for his third club in the form of Aberdeen, six months after leaving Rangers following a loan spell at Ibrox – and Gers fans have responded to his latest move.

Kamberi, 25, initially moved to Scotland from Hibernian where he scored 30 goals in 84 league and cup appearances – as well as laying on 13 assists for the Gers. He moved to Rangers on loan in January 2020.

He made a decent impact at Rangers, playing nine times in all competitions for Steven Gerrard’s side – scoring once and creating two more in his brief stint north of the border. He returned to Hibs, before moving to Switzerland.

The striker joined FC Gallen but has been poor in his home country, failing to score in nine appearances. Now, Aberdeen have moved to bring him back to Scotland – after selling Sam Cosgrove to Birmingham City.

It remains to be seen of Kamberi can return to the form that saw him initially impress at Hibs – where he was involved in a goal every two games. He has moved to Pittodrie on loan until the end of the season.

Rangers supporters reacted to the news that Kamberi is set to play for his third Scottish club in the space of 18 months – and many feel like a move to Aberdeen is a good move for the Albanian attacker.
