Rangers fan and Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie has teased Celtic on Twitter after Neil Lennon’s side were knocked out of the Champions League by Romanian outfit CFR Cluj.
Celtic took a slender advantage into the second leg at Parkhead after drawing 1-1 in Romania against Cluj. James Forrest had scored an away goal, but it was Cluj that progressed.
Lennon chose to leave Christopher Jullien and Boli Bolingoli on the bench – despite costing a combined £10million -as Cluj scored four. They cancelled out strikes from Ryan Christie, Forrest and Odsonne Edouard, to win 4-3.
The defeat means Celtic will have to go through Europa League qualifying to reach the lesser competition’s group stages – instead of the Champions League. McBurnie, who cost Sheffield United £20million (Sun) this summer, teased Celtic on Twitter with it well known that he is a Rangers fan.

TBR’s view – Lennon’s Celtic team selection all over the place
Not only were £7million centre-back Jullien and £3million left-back Bolingoli were sitting on the bench, but back in-form Leigh Griffiths was only used until the 83rd minute.
Callum McGregor started at left-back instead of Bolingoli following the loss of Kieran Tierney, and McGregor’s absence in the middle of the park was noticed – with Olivier Ntcham not providing the same energy or assurance.
Lennon has got to save face now and reach the Europa League group stages, but after fans implored for the job to go his way in the summer – many are now suggesting that he needs replacing.
