Rangers ensured a safe passage into the last eight of the Scottish League Cup after beating East Fife 3-0.
Boss Steven Gerrard saw his side look mightily convincing despite some horrendous conditions at the Bayview Stadium.
The Gers’ goals came from Jermain Defoe, Filip Helander and Joe Aribo, setting up a quarter-final with Livingston.

In previous years games like this trip to East Fife might have proved tricky to negotiate for Rangers. Under Gerrard’s management, however, the current crop looks like they could achieve something special.
One man who stood out yesterday was new recruit Aribo.
He capped a fine performance with a goal for his new club, his fourth in his first eight appearances for Rangers.
He took to Twitter after the contest to speak of his delight at progressing to the next stage of the competition:
Aribo was a summer signing from Charlton Athletic and he already looks like being a quality player in Scotland.
He helped Charlton towards promotion to the Championship last season and will hope to guide the Gers in their quest for silverware this campaign.
Following his performance in yesterday’s game supporters were quick to praise the 23-year-old.
Here is a selection of tweets from Rangers supporters following Aribo’s showing against East Fife:
