With the January transfer window now open, Glasgow Rangers can look to bring new recruits to Ibrox.
There’s already been one high-profile Rangers transfer move, with Nathan Patterson leaving Ibrox.
Now, the Daily Mail has reported that Rangers are closing in on an international trophy-winning youngster.

The Light Blues have apparently been in talks over New York City FC talent James Sands.
Discussions for the 21-year-old – who can play in defence and midfield – are reportedly advancing well.
Rangers are looking to agree a loan for the rest of this season and next, added the report.
Meanwhile, The Athletic’s Jordan Campbell has claimed the Gers will have an option to buy.
And the Daily Record has reported that Sands is valued at £3million.
Sands has just wrapped up a campaign in which he helped NYCFC lift their first-ever MLS Cup title.
He was also part of the United States men’s national team that won the Gold Cup against Mexico.
Sands, NYCFC’s first homegrown signing, has been a regular starter for three seasons.
He made his MLS debut in 2017, coming off the substitute’s bench for Andrea Pirlo.
