Rangers are now on an eight-game winning run across all competitions after beating Lech Poznan on Thursday night, which strengthened their position in their Europa League group.
Steven Gerrard’s side managed a narrow 1-0 victory in a hard-fought game against Lech Poznan at Ibrox.
Gers centre-forward Alfredo Morelos scored the winning goal in the second-half, powering in a header from a stunning cross by Borna Barisic.
Rangers turn their attention to a double header with Benfica in their next two Europa League group stage fixtures, but they have six points from their opening two matches and have made the perfect start in their bid to reach the knockout rounds.
Gerrard was asked about Glen Kamara in his post-match press conference and was hugely complimentary of his performance.
The 25-year-old midfielder delivered an all-action display, as he helped break up play on a couple of occasions with some smart interceptions and he looked to get the ball forward quickly too.
“Very pleased. Glen was outstanding from start to finish. Really pleased with him and where he’s at in terms of his form, he’s in a fantastic place. I thought there was a lot of strong performances throughout the group, but Glen was certainly one of the standouts,” Gerrard said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.

TBR’s View:
Despite being rested at the weekend against Livingston in the league, Kamara is certainly one of the key players in the Rangers squad this season and he’s been delivering such consistent performers all campaign.
The Finland international is a central midfielder at the heart of everything Rangers do, something he showcased once again against Lech Poznan with the way he helped keep a grip on the game in the centre of the pitch.
TEAMtalk have reported this month that Kamara has been washed by the likes Leeds United, Everton, Southampton, Monaco, Lille and Borussia Dortmund, but Rangers are ‘desperate’ to extend his contract with them.
