Rangers fans react to international call-up for Alfredo Morelos

In-form Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has earned a call-up to the Colombia national squad for games against Japan and South Korea.

The 22-year-old has been in prolific form this season, scoring 28 goals in 42 games.

Steven Gerrard is seeing the best of Morelos, who has also contributed 11 assists this season.

There is a small concern over the striker’s discipline, following four red cards. The Rangers boss is convinced he can curb the player’s enthusiasm, however.

The Light Blues talisman signed a new contract last week as per confirmation on the club’s official website.

That will delight the supporters who quite clearly love the man nicknamed ‘The Buffalo’.

Morelos already has one cap for Colombian having featured against Venezuela in September.

He will now look to add to that solitary cap when he meets up with the national team next week.
