Sky Sports journalist Charles Paterson has said that Rangers would be likely to sell Alfredo Morelos for £18 million.
The European transfer window closes next week and it is thought the Light Blues could offload the Colombian if a club matches their valuation.
Rangers are basing their valuation on the amount which Celtic recouped for Moussa Dembele in 2018.
Boss Steven Gerrard won’t want to lose his influential talisman before the window shuts but he could be powerless to prevent a departure if the valuation is met.

Paterson says that interest has been high for several months.
He told Sky Sports: “I think it’s important to stress there has been speculation surrounding Morelos for probably 18 months now and in that time Rangers have not had a firm bid for the Colombian, they’ve not had a concrete offer on the table.
“Rangers value him as highly as Celtic valued Dembele. Remember Celtic sold Dembele for £18 million.
“If ever an offer came in matching that valuation for Morelos, you have to think Rangers would be prepared to do business.”

Morelos has scored nine goals so far this season and is clearly an important player in Gerrard’s squad. Paterson believes any decision over his future could well be taken out of his hands, however.
He continued: “He might not have a decision to make, it might be taken out of his hands by the board.
“It will be very interesting to see what transpires this week, there have been rumblings that perhaps clubs in Europe are looking to potentially make a bid this week.”
TBR Verdict
If Morelos is sold then Gerrard must identify a replacement prior to the transfer window closing.
Rangers have their best chance of winning the Premiership title in many years this season and Morelos is integral to those fortunes.

To lose a player who boasts such an impressive goalscoring record this close to the window closing would be catastrophic as far as Rangers are concerned.
If a club does offer £18 million then, of course, the club has a decision to make.
For now, Morelos should be kept. If he leads the Gers towards the title, he’ll be worth far more than the current £18 million being brandished about.
