Randal Kolo Muani has had a slow start to his time at Tottenham Hotspur, but away at Everton, the Frenchman was handed his first Premier League start.
Tottenham have signed Kolo Muani on loan until the end of the season in what could prove to be one of the shrewdest pieces of business from the summer window.
Thomas Frank, who likes Kolo Muani’s versatility, has had to be patient with the French international to get back up to speed following his limited pre-season.
But against Everton, the 26-year-old showed a glimpse of what he can offer to the Lilywhites, and he could even save them big money in January.

Randal Kolo Muani proves vs Everton that he must start for Tottenham
Randal Kolo Muani enjoyed an impressive full Premier League debut for Tottenham Hotspur, proving Frank must now place his trust in him.
The number nine position has become a bit of a concern for Spurs this season, with Richarlison, Mathys Tel and Dominic Solanke all having issues.
Tel and Richarlison have both struggled for consistency this term, meanwhile, Solanke has been missing with an ankle injury.

During the win at Everton, Kolo Muani was handed 62 minutes before being replaced by Richarlison, who once again struggled when he came on.
But in terms of the Frenchman, he looked very positive in attack, linking play nicely and giving Spurs a focal point in the number nine role.
Given Richarlison’s recent struggles, it should be a no-brainer for the new Spurs boss to now place his trust in Kolo Muani and hand him an extended run in the team.
It was far from a perfect performance from the former PSG and Juventus star, but impressive nonetheless, given it was his first start in all competitions since June 22.
Thomas Frank must trust Randal Kolo Muani over Dusan Vlahovic move
During their struggles to find a consistent number nine, Tottenham have been assessing the striker market.
One of the players Tottenham are strongly considering is Dusan Vlahovic, who TBR Football understands has been made available for just £20 million by Juventus.
The Serbian international is out of contract with the Italian club in 2026, and Juve are keen to offload him during the winter window to raise funds.

| Dusan Vlahovic | 12 (5) | 3 | 3 |
| Randal Kolo Muani | 16 (13) | 8 | 1 |
But for Juventus last season, Kolo Muani has already shown he can be better than Vlahovic, with the Frenchman often being preferred ahead of him.
Rather than looking to the transfer market, in Kolo Muani, Frank could have an internal solution to his centre-forward woes at Spurs.
