'Rampaging': Liverpool 27-year-old lauded for latest international display

Liverpool ace Andrew Robertson delivered an impressive display as he helped Scotland gain a key advantage in World Cup qualifying.

The Reds defender helped his nation record a crucial 2-0 win over Denmark in Monday night’s qualifier at Hampden Park.

The victory means Scotland will have home advantage in the Qatar 2022 playoffs next March.

The 27-year-old went down to the turf clutching his leg on the 79th minute and had to be taken off as he was replaced by Scott McKenna.

Numerous media outlets, including The Mirror, have reported that the Liverpool star could have suffered a hamstring injury.

The picture over Robertson’s potential injury should become clearer over the next few days.

Liverpool ace put in a “tremendous” shift for Scotland

Herald Scotland wrote: “Tremendous shift from the Scotland skipper who was a constant threat down the left flank.

“Countless dangerous balls into the box, but disciplined defensively when it was required.

“Major concern seeing the flying full-back forced off with ten minutes left.”

The Scotsman said: “Another who seemingly had limitless energy to both attack relentlessly and defend resolutely.”

And Football Scotland wrote: “Patrolled the left-flank and constantly provided an attacking option with his rampaging runs.

“Has replicated his Liverpool form across recent Scotland appearances. Picked up injury late on.”
