Ramon Vega launches stinging attack on Tottenham star Harry Kane after Fabrizio Romano update
Fabrizio Romano claims that Harry Kane’s absence at Tottenham training is his choice, and nothing to do with needing to return a negative test. Kane chose to miss Spurs training on Monday, according to Romano. Ex-Tottenham man Ramon Vega has responded angrily to Romano’s claim.
The 28-year-old continues to be strongly linked with a move to Manchester City. The Tottenham striker is keen on leaving Tottenham and has made it clear he wants a new challenge, according to The Athletic. But Daniel Levy is playing hard ball. He will not let Kane leave below his price tag.
Romano says that Kane has chosen not to attend training himself – contrary to reports that Kane has been forced to miss training as he has to return a negative test. Former Tottenham man Vega is fuming at Kane and his decision, claiming Kane will lose his respect if Romano’s claim is true.
Vega tweet: Does Kane absence change Tottenham stance?
Not really. Kane will remain at Tottenham unless clubs can match his £150million price tag. It has been the same story throughout the summer. Levy will not let Kane go unless he gets his asking price for his best player. So, does Kane’s absence change anything? No.
Kane will eventually return to training, he cannot keep missing sessions. But what is evident is that the Tottenham striker will not be sold for anything less than what Levy wants. Unless a club pay the asking price, Kane will stay put. Simple as that.
