Tottenham Hotspur once again had VAR to thank for a controversial result against Manchester City yesterday. In a game that City dominated, Gabriel Jesus appeared to have won the tie for the home side in the 90th minute.
However, the game finished 2-2 after the video assistant referee showed a handball from Aymeric Laporte.
For City fans, it was a painful reminder of the way in which they lost the Champions League quarter-final last season.

However, Raheem Sterling has at least seen the funny side of it.
The England international, who scored the opening goal of the game, took to Twitter to jokingly reference that game, and the fact he also had a goal disallowed against West Ham United on the opening day.
He even had a classy response to a Tottenham fan who appreciated the performance of Sterling, despite being on the opposing side.
Whilst his team-mate Ilkay Gundogan was whining about the incident on his own twitter feed, Sterling showed real class by moving on and is already looking forward to taking on Tottenham again later this season.
Tottenham fans will just hope they get the rub of the green once again the next time they face off.
