Raheem Sterling has taken to Instagram to declare his admiration for Liverpool, claiming the football club will always remain in his heart.
The Manchester City ace took part in a Q&A session using the Instagram account of Colossal Sports Management, the company who looks after his representation.
Sterling signed for City back in 2015 for £49 million and the 25-year-old has won two Premier League titles at the Etihad Stadium.

He was bluntly asked by a supporter whether he would ever consider returning to Anfield at another stage in his career.
He told the Instagram account: “Would I ever go back to Liverpool? To be honest with you I love Liverpool.
“Don’t get it twisted, they are always in my heart. It’s a team that’s done a lot for me growing up so…”
Sterling was a fan favourite during his time at Liverpool and very nearly led the team to a Premier League title before his departure.
In 129 appearances for the Reds, he netted 23 goals and registered 25 assists before his departure.
It’s clear that Sterling has improved his silverware haul by leaving Liverpool, although the Champions League does remain elusive for City.
The dazzling forward upset a lot of Liverpool supporters by leaving for a Premier League rival.
With that in mind, a return for Sterling looks unlikely as it could cause some unrest among the club’s supporters.

The man with 12 goals in 56 games for England will be loving winning title after title with City.
It’s clear in his mind though that there are no bad feeling towards his time at Anfield.
interestingly, Sterling would probably thrive at Liverpool now and although it wouldn’t go down well, he’d be a quality addition in a Jurgen Klopp team.
