Arsenal will win the race to sign Adrien Rabiot this summer.

That’s the view of former Gunners Invincible Robert Pires (via The Mirror), who reckons Unai Emery’s links to Paris Saint-Germain will prove decisive in the hunt for the Frenchman.

Rabiot is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to leave the Parc des Princes for nothing.

A number of clubs including Liverpool, Tottenham, Barcelona and Juventus have all been linked.

Arsenal have been credited with interest (The Mirror), and Pires believes the move will happen. If it does, then it could hand Matteo Guendouzi a fine mentor to learn from.

Rabiot is a player to learn from

Not only would Arsenal signing Rabiot for free be a good move in its own right, but there is also potential that he can help improve Guendouzi.

Guendouzi has really caught the eye in his debut season – playing over 1500 Premier League minutes so far.

The teenager has a fearless approach and has never hidden for the Gunners since coming into the team.

His vast potential is clear for all to see, but right now he is still a rough gem.

The addition of Rabiot can help Guendouzi to impove and refine his game, as the PSG playmaker is cut from a similar cloth.

Despite still only being 23, Rabiot has already played 227 games and therefore boasts a wealth of experience.

His passing range and technical ability are two things which make him stand out, and are also two things that Guendouzi could learn from if he joined for next season.
