Gary Lineker has suggested that Gabriel Jesus may well have lost his place in the Arsenal side now.
Gabriel Jesus has missed Arsenal’s last three games after picking up a knee injury last month.
During this period, the Gunners have picked up three consecutive wins, with the most notable coming against Liverpool at home.
Mikel Arteta’s men have also netted 14 goals in the process after thrashing both West Ham and Burnley on the road.
Kai Havertz started as a centre-forward against Liverpool but has since dropped back into a midfield role. Leandro Trossard has slotted in as a false nine over the past two weeks in Jesus’ absence.
And Gary Lineker believes Jesus may find it difficult to break back into Arsenal’s side upon his return.

Jesus may have lost his place in Arsenal’s XI
Speaking on The Rest Is Football, Lineker raised doubts over Jesus breaking straight back into Arteta’s side.
“Jesus has been out injured and it’s questionable now where and whether he will get back in. Havertz is contributing as well,” the Leicester City legend said.

It remains unclear exactly when Jesus will return to full fitness as he continues to recover from his knee injury.
But Lineker makes a great point that he will surely be forced to wait his turn once he does come back.
Arteta seems to have found a winning formula in recent weeks and Arsenal have been in exceptional form in front of goal.
Jesus wasn’t exactly enjoying his best season before the injury too, with the £45 million man managing just four league goals in 17 appearances.
The Brazil star remains an integral part of this current Arsenal side. But with Trossard performing at such a high standard at the moment, it would be a surprise to see Jesus come straight back into the starting line-up.
