Tottenham winger Jack Clarke is close to his second Championship loan move of the season, according to Sky Sports.

They report, that after returning back from Leeds, where he struggled for gametime, Clarke is close to moving to Queens Park Rangers.

The fact that Spurs team-mate Luke Amos is on loan at the west London club has reportedly influenced his decision.

Moreover, staying in the capital may help Clarke settle there, having some through the ranks at Leeds but found it tough upon his loan return in the first part of this season.

TBR’s View – Clarke needs to use this spell to get back on track

Clarke caught the eye at Leeds last season but did not fully establish himself in the starting eleven before landing his big move to Tottenham, at a time when there were plenty of clubs are him.

And he has now struggled badly to get back into Marcelo Bielsa’s plans, which must have knocked his confidence.

That means that this next loan spell is now crucial for Clarke in terms of getting his form and confidence back, with his eye on making the grade at Tottenham.

Clarke has also seen Mauricio Pochettino – a manager famed for giving young English talent a chance – replaced by Jose Mourinho, who prefers experience, which only makes his task even harder.
