‘Quality’: Some Arsenal fans love what Crystal Palace fans chanted during 3-0 win

Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after hearing the Crystal Palace fans chanting during their 3-0 win over Tottenham earlier today.

What’s the story?

Well, to be more specific, the Arsenal fans could hear the Selhurst Park faithful singing: “Patrick Vieira, he’s won more than you.”

They’re not exactly wrong!

Understandably, Arsenal fans absolutely loved this taunting chant from the south Londoners.

During his time at Arsenal, Vieira won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups, as well as the Community Shield on three occasions.

The Frenchman also picked up three Serie A titles with Inter Milan, and has won the World Cup with France.

Vieira also, unsurprisingly, has a ludicrous amount of individual awards, including six entries into the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.

Should you include these personal triumphs, then yes – Vieira has quite easily won more than Tottenham have as a football club.

Arsenal have a lot to like about Crystal Palace

By the looks of Twitter nowadays, it seems as if some Arsenal fans are adopting Crystal Palace as their second team.

The Eagles have a Gunners legend in charge, while there are plenty of admirers for Wilfried Zaha at the Emirates Stadium after Arsenal tried to sign him.

After they hammered Tottenham, and sung mockingly in the direction of the away end, any love Arsenal fans have for Crystal Palace has surely grown stronger.

If Eddie Nketiah had completed his deadline day move to SE25 – rather than haggle over personal terms – then the link would’ve been even stronger.

The Eagles won’t mind about that one bit, however, as Odsonne Edouard scored twice on his debut.
