Manchester City are reportedly working on offering Ruben Dias a new bumper contract with the club.
According to the Sun, the Premier League champions want to award the Portuguese international a fresh deal after a brilliant debut season in England.
Dias formed a formidable defensive partnership with John Stones as the duo played a pivotal role in City’s Premier League triumph. The England international also signed a new deal earlier in the month.

Although the 24-year-old defender joined City just under 12 months ago, the club are already working on handing Dias a new contract. The centre-back earns a reported £90,000-a-week.
Indeed, with Stones now on £250,000-a-week according to the Athletic, a new contract seems only fair for Dias, who was named the Premier League Player of the Season last campaign.

And fans on social media are buzzing that Dias is in talks to sign a new contract with City. The defender was outstanding for the Premier League champions, and at 24, the centre-back could develop further.
Here’s what some City fans had to say about Dias being in talks to sign a new deal on Twitter…
