Arsenal’s title hopes have started to fade in recent weeks.
The Gunners have failed to win any of their last four league games, and it’s clear that many of their problems lie in their ability to score goals.
Arsenal have scored just three goals in their last four games, and that is not a good enough return.
Many have stated that Arsenal need a new striker for a long time, and speaking on the Handbrake Off podcast, Adrian Clarke has been discussing the Gunners’ need for a new number nine.
Indeed, Clarke says that a new striker would definitely help Arsenal, and he says that Viktor Gyokeres, Alexander Isak and Victor Osimhen would be three good options for the Gunners.

The three strikers Arsenal should look at
Clarke stated that Osimhen, Isak and Gyokeres would all be brilliant signings for Arsenal.
The pundit did note that all three players would be expensive, and he doesn’t expect these deals to go through in January.
“It’s not that simple, no. It’s more than that. You don’t just win a title with a new striker,” Clarke said.
“But it would definitely help us, no doubt about it. There are a couple of Scandinavians that I wouldn’t mind. They both play in a yellow and blue kit for their countries.
“I mean, Isak or Gyokeres would be lovely. Thank you very much. And having seen Osimhen recently, absolutely tear shreds out of Spurs.
“I wouldn’t mind seeing him up top either. So look, it has to be the priority, but mid-season transfer windows are notoriously dead. And you have to, these three guys, if you went for one of them, they would cost the earth.”
Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen compared
Clarke named three striking options for Arsenal in January, and they’re all fantastic players.
However, if you’re to look at the stats, it’s clear which of these three Arsenal should be targeting in the next transfer window.

Gyokeres has been outperforming both Isak and Osimhen this season, and by some way too.
Gyokeres actually has more goals this season than Isak and Osimhen combined.
Granted, the Portuguese League isn’t the highest level, but he’s been doing the business in the Champions League and internationally too.
Arsenal do admire Gyokeres, but, sadly, it doesn’t look like the striker will be leaving Sporting in January.
Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Alexander Isak, and he is a Premier League proven option, so that is certainly one to keep in mind.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has proven his credentials at the top level for years, but given that none of the top European clubs signed him in the summer, a January move looks unlikely.
Arsenal do need a new striker if they’re top push on and compete for the biggest trophies in the game, and these three players may be worth keeping an eye on.
