Anton Ferdinand has shared what he absolutely loves about Kai Havertz with the Arsenal star starting to silence his critics at the Emirates.
Harry Maguire proved a point by being named the Premier League Player of the Month for November. And on current form, you would not be surprised to see Kai Havertz pick up the award for December.
The 24-year-old has scored four goals in his last seven appearances in all competitions for the Gunners. It was his strike which sealed Sunday’s win over Brighton.
Anton Ferdinand loves what Kai Havertz has done at Arsenal
Havertz was quiet during his first few months of the season. And after his difficult time at Chelsea, many would have assumed that he was going to prove to be a flop at Arsenal.

However, we may be in the process of being forced to eat our words about Havertz. Mikel Arteta has managed Havertz brilliantly. And Arsenal are now reaping the rewards.
Certainly, Anton Ferdinand suggested on The Take On that he is so pleased for the 24-year-old right now.
“The biggest thing for me, which I love, is that he’s just proving people wrong. I love somebody who just proves people wrong,” he said.
“That, for me, is the biggest compliment you can get. All the adversity, all of them giving him some, and you just come back and prove them wrong. I love that, I absolutely love that.”
Many of us being made to eat our words
The worry with Havertz was that it appeared that he did not know his best position. He was brilliant up front in the first-half of the Community Shield. But he is not a prolific goalscorer.
And in the early stages of the campaign, he was seemingly not making enough of an impact as a number eight.
Arteta appeared to take Havertz out of the starting lineup for a little while in the hope of taking some of the pressure off of the summer signing.
And he is almost looking like a different player since scoring that winner against Brentford last month.
For those of us who were so critical previously, you have to admit that he has been excellent more recently.
