Arsenal’s season has started brilliantly as the Gunners have won each of their first two games this term.
Mikel Arteta’s side have taken six points from a possible six, and while this start has been perfect in terms of results, there’s always room for improvement in terms of performances.
Indeed, Mikel Arteta will constantly be surveying how he can get that extra one or two per cent out of his team, and according to Adrian Clarke, speaking on the Handbrake Off Podcast, there could be a change in the XI for Arsenal’s next game.

Gabriel Martinelli could be dropped
Clarke spoke about Arsenal’s line-up for their next game against Brighton.
The pundit reckons that after his goal against Aston Villa, Leandro Trossard has earned the right to start against the Seagulls, claiming that Gabriel Martinelli will be dropped to the bench.
“I think it was a toss up at the start of the season, he gave Gabriel Martinelli the first go at it, but based on that contribution and Gabriel Martinelli not delivering quite as much as you’d hoped it may be Leo’s turn now to get a start. They’re both really good, they’re both excellent players.”
Leandro Trossard should start vs Brighton
Leandro Trossard has absolutely earned the right to start against Brighton.
The Belgian was brilliant against Villa, and it was only this week that Tim Sherwood stated that the attacker needs to have a chat with Mikel Arteta about his role.
Trossard is a player who can make something out of nothing, and against an organised team like Brighton, Arsenal may need that kind of magic.
Of course, the fact that Trossard used to play for Brighton and left the club in slightly acrimonious circumstances certainly helps him in terms of motivation for this weekend.
Don’t be surprised if Trossard is, once again, the difference-maker on Saturday.
