Liverpool need to replace Jurgen Klopp this summer, but there’s another key figure at Anfield who may also need replacing come the end of the season.
Indeed, as much as Liverpool fans won’t want to face this reality, the fact of the matter is that Mohamed Salah could soon be leaving Anfield.
The Egyptian remains the subject of plenty of interest from Saudi Arabia and as he heads into the final year of his contract, he may be looking to move on.
So, if Salah does leave, how do Liverpool replace him?
Well, speaking on ESPN, Don Hutchison has claimed that Jarrod Bowen could be a great option to replace Salah on the cheap.

Bowen could replace Salah
Hutchison shared his verdict on the £18m man.
“If you want to go the cheaper route, Jarrod Bowen, he’s been in amazing form. If you have unlimited money, if you want to go the cheaper route, Jarrod Bowen,” Hutchison said.
Depends
If Jurgen Klopp was staying at Liverpool, we’d say this was a great idea. After all, Bowen plays in a very similar way to Salah and Klopp hasn’t been coy about the fact he really admires Bowen.
However, with Klopp on his way out, we have no idea how Liverpool will line up next season, and a player like Salah or Bowen may not fit into the tactical setup going forwards.
The idea of Salah leaving is scary, but as we enter a new era at Anfield, it will be interesting to see how Liverpool ultimately end up replacing him.
