All is not well at Manchester United right now – with several issues for INEOS and fans alike to mull over.
TBR Football understand Erik ten Hag will be given more time to improve poor results, which have left the Red Devils 14th in the Premier League and without a UEFA Europa League win either.

There are also problems in regards to attacking football, with Manchester United scoring just five goals in seven Premier League games this season – only Southampton, who sit 19th, have netted fewer with four.
Marcus Rashford is arguably the one most capable of changing this – having scored 30 goals in 56 appearances under Erik ten Hag in the 2022/23 campaign – although an astonishing claim has now been made about the England international.
Geert Langendorff suggests Marcus Rashford attempted to get sent off against Aston Villa
Dutch pundit Geert Langendorff has now made the bold claim of suggesting that the Manchester United No.10 tried to get Rob Jones to show him a red card during Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Villa Park.
The Dutchman told Algemeen Dagblad: “He is one of the bad apples. Rashford had problems off the pitch last year. He didn’t quite colour within the lines, and whoever saw him on Sunday against Aston Villa, he was clearly asking for a red card. Fortunately, Ten Hag was able to intervene just in time and take him off.
“(Jose) Mourinho never mentioned names, but he did say that there were one or two bad apples who made it impossible for him to do his job. Anthony Martial was one of them, he’s gone now. The fact that Mourinho said there’s one left. There can only be one and that’s Rashford.”

Rashford perhaps should have been shown a second yellow card for a late challenge on Leon Bailey – while already on a booking after fouling Matty Cash – but to say the England international wanted to be dismissed is quite the character assassination from Langendorff.
Manchester United No.10 has every right to be furious with Erik ten Hag
We strongly downplay the suggestion that Rashford wanted to be sent off on Sunday, but if he was indeed upset with Ten Hag, that is entirely understandable after what happened on Wednesday against FC Porto.
The 26-year-old was on fire in the opening 45 minutes of that UEFA Europa League clash, scoring and assisting in the opening 20 minutes to put Manchester United 2-0 ahead.
However, Ten Hag then bizarrely withdrew Rashford at the interval – for reasons the Dutchman said were “tactical” – with the Red Devils then finding themselves 3-2 down after 49 minutes.
The £300,000-a-week Manchester United academy graduate was undoubtedly playing one of the best halves of football he had for a long time, so he must have felt truly annoyed to see it end abruptly for no good reason.
