Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has confirmed he’ll be on commentating duties for the Premier League clash between Arsenal and Liverpool tonight.

Speaking on his Instagram Live on Monday night, he also pledged to “bring some impartiality” during the game.

Wednesday night will see the Premier League’s in-form teams lock horns in north London.

Arsenal have won five consecutive top-flight games, while Liverpool are on an eight-game winning run in the competition.

In addition, Manchester City’s draw at Crystal Palace has brought the Reds right back into immediate contention.

If Liverpool win, they’ll be just one point behind Pep Guardiola’s side.

However, Arsenal won’t make it easy for them. The Gunners are desperate for a top-four finish and a long-awaited return to the Champions League.

It should be an exciting game with plenty at stake, and Neville will be covering the game.

“I’m commentating on the game Wednesday, just to bring some impartiality,” he said on Instagram Live.

And on Wednesday, Neville tweeted the following:

As a Manchester United legend, Neville used to have a well-documented rivalry with Liverpool.

In 2016, he told the Players’ Tribune, via Sky Sports: “I used to say I hated Liverpool, but I’ve softened a little bit in recent years.

“Now, I’d say it’s more complicated than just hate.”

But when it comes to punditry and commentating, Neville is a top professional and always does a good job.

Besides, it’s a bit of a tricky situation for Neville to be in right now.

Even if Liverpool lose tonight, that’ll just give United’s other big rivals the advantage in the title race.
