PSG have now reached an agreement to sign a player who Arsenal rejected earlier this summer.

The French giants are looking to rebuild themselves after losing Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid, and have now struck a deal in principle with one of Europe’s most exciting forwards.

So, which Arsenal reject have PSG now agreed to sign? Let’s take a look…

PSG agree deal to sign Jadon Sancho after Arsenal rejection

A story from Sports Zone now states that PSG have reached an agreement with Jadon Sancho.

The French news outlet believe the Parisians have a verbal agreement with the England international, although a fee must still be agreed with Manchester United – the Red Devils are looking for €60m (£50.7m) this summer.

It comes after Gazzetta dello Sport that Arsenal rejected the chance to sign Sancho earlier this summer.

The Manchester United No.25 made just three Premier League appearances last season before falling out with Erik ten Hag, a situation which led him to be loaned to Borussia Dortmund in January.

Sancho partly rebuilt his reputation with the German giants, specifically impressing against PSG in the UEFA Champions League semi-final to fire Borussia Dortmund into the final, where they lost 2-0 to Real Madrid.

Mikel Arteta made the correct call

While some Arsenal fans may be feeling a tinge of FOMO (fear of missing out) after seeing a European giant move for Sancho – given the fact Mikel Arteta rejected the chance to sign the winger – we believe it was the right decision.

The 25-year-old still has it all to prove in English football, despite making a name for himself as a superstar in Germany with 40 goals and 54 assists in 118 Bundesliga appearances.

Sancho only has nine goals and six assists in 58 Premier League outings, a return which is not befitting of a £50.7m forward, so Arsenal were right to let PSG take the gamble instead.

Hopefully, the Camberwell-born winger can reignite his career at the Parc des Princes, if PSG agree a fee with Manchester United first, that is.
