French giants PSG have reportedly made contact with Miralem Pjanic in a move which could massively boost Everton in their hopes of landing Clair Todibo.
According to Le Parisien, the Ligue 1 champions have made their approach for Juventus man Pjanic.

And while Pjanic has no direct link with Everton, the move from PSG could help Everton land Barcelona defender Todibo further down the line.
That is because the Catalan giants were hoping to use Todibo as bait in their own hopes of bringing Pjanic to the club.
The Bosnian superstar is expected to leave Turin this summer. And with such experience and quality in the tank, Europe’s best clubs are monitoring his situation.
It was reported earlier in the week that Everton had made a £22.5m bid for Todibo. However, that same report claimed Barca were keen on sending Todibo to Italy in the hope of landing Pjanic.

Everton, then, will be buoyed by PSG’s move for Pjanic. The midfielder has previously admitted a move to Paris is appealing. That could well leave the door open for Everton to make their move for Todibo more concrete.

It’s funny how things work out in football sometimes. Just a few days ago it seemed like Everton were out of the running for Todibo.
Now, however, it looks like being a different story. With Pjanic keen on PSG, there would appear to be no stumbling block now from Barcelona.
This one will pan out in the next few weeks, no doubt. But Everton are right in the mix to land their £22.5m target it seems.
