Leeds United are one injury short of a crisis in goal after on-loan Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman broke his leg.
In a freak injury in an under-23 match against Birmingham City, Blackman suffered a fractured tibia which is likely to rule him out for the rest of the season.
This is a major blow to the 25-year-old, who was on the verge of taking the gloves from Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
Leeds academy graduate Peacock-Farrell has made some costly mistakes in recent weeks and he may have been replaced had Blackman not broken his leg.
With Blackman now returning to Chelsea, Peacock-Farrell is the only senior goalkeeper on Leeds’ books with youth team stopper Will Huffer likely to take a place on the bench.
If Peacock-Farrell now suffers an injury, Leeds will have to rely on inexperienced 20-year-old Huffer to keep their promotion bid in check.
But Marcelo Bielsa should scout the free agent market and look to sign Przemyslaw Tyton.

The 14-cap Poland international was most recently at Deportivo La Coruna and he boasts experience with PSV, Stuttgart and Elche among others.
With plenty of experience, the 31-year-old would provide Leeds with a short-term fix – at least until January.
And given his 6ft 5in frame, he is a dominant goalkeeper who could probably edge Peacock-Farrell out of the team if he finds his best form.
