Celtic cruised to a win over Hamilton as they got their defence of the Scottish title off to the perfect start at Parkhead this afternoon.

A hat-trick from Odsonne Edouard was the obvious highlight of the day as the French striker showed just why so many clubs have been registering an interest in him this summer.

But aside from Edouard, there was also a number of other fine performances from Celtic players, including the other goalscorer, Jeremie Frimpong.

The defender scored a fine goal to cap an even finer performance for the Bhoys, and it looks like the 19-year-old is in for a good season up in Scotland.

His performance caught the attention of Celtic fans on Twitter, too, who were quick to sing the praises of the Dutch star following the game.
