Arsenal legend Paul Merson has waxed lyrical about reported Gunners target Ruben Neves.
The Highbury icon thinks the Wolves midfielder is a “proper player” who “every team” will surely want.
In February, The Sun claimed Arsenal have identified Neves as one of three key summer targets.

The outlet claims he has a price tag of around £45million.
The Gunners apparently also want strikers Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Alexander Isak.
Mohamed Elneny is expected to leave Arsenal at the end of the season as his contract expires.
Meanwhile, the Gunners could potentially also sell Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
In addition, Roma are reportedly planning to make another move for Granit Xhaka.
Despite Wolves struggling at times this season, Neves has again been a standout this season.
He was particularly impressive against Watford in midweek, clocking up some impressive stats, as per football.london.
Neves scored his side’s fourth of the night, a superb chip into the top corner.
He also had more touches than any other player, boasted a 96 percent pass success rate, and prevented three Watford counter-attacks.
“Every team will be looking at Ruben Neves now”
On Sunday, Wolves travel to ailing Everton in the Premier League, and Merson previewed the game on Sportskeeda.
“Everton have to win this game,” wrote the Arsenal icon.
“They have Wolves and Newcastle at home coming up, and they need at least four points from these two games.
“I don’t see how Everton are going to get that big Premier League result this season.
“The thing with Wolves again is that you don’t know what team you’re going to play.
“Every team will be looking at Ruben Neves now – he’s a proper player.
“Wolves are the better team at the moment, and Everton will be in big trouble if they lose this game.”
