A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have praised Harry Winks’ display for Spurs against Southampton.
Tottenham were below par for the most part as they left the south coast with a point in a 1-1 draw.
Admittedly, Spurs were also fairly unlucky on the day.

A tight offside call denied Tottenham a 53rd-minute goal which would have put them 2-1 up.
Fraser Forster then spilled a cross before back-heeling it into his own net.
However, the goal was ruled out due to a foul by Matt Doherty.
Nonetheless, it wasn’t a great performance and, come full time, few Tottenham players emerged with much credit.
Winks was one of those who many Spurs fans were happy with.
The 25-year-old was making superb deliveries throughout the game and could have had two assists.
According to Whoscored, Winks made three key passes, took 91 touches and made 77 passes overall.
He boasted a 92.2 percent pass accuracy and delivered six crosses and five long balls.

Winks was unlucky to get a yellow card for a handball.
Or more precisely, for the ball bouncing off his chest to his arm while in full stride.
Here’s what some Spurs fans wrote about Winks on Twitter:
Tottenham fell behind in the 25th minute to a superb James Ward-Prowse effort.
However, Spurs won a penalty on 39 minutes.
Mohammed Salisu brought down Son Heung-min, who was chasing a Winks pass.
The referee sent Salisu off, with Kane stepping up and duly converting from 12 yards in the 41st minute.
Winks also delivered the pass for the England captain to find the back of the net on 53 minutes.
