Arsenal are reportedly interested in a deal for Benfica attacker Rafa Silva. That is according to Correio da Manha, who suggest that the attacker is interested in a move to The Emirates this summer.
The report also makes it clear that Silva currently has an €80 million (£71m) release clause in his contract, leaving Benfica in a strong negotiating position.
However, based on a recent report regarding another Premier League team’s apparent interest in Silva, Arsenal will not have to spend anything like that amount on the Portuguese international.

The Sun reported last month that Newcastle United’s own move to sign Rafa from the Portuguese giants was currently on hold.
It was suggested the deal was put on the back-burner with Newcastle concerned over his form and wanting to see more of him in action. With football suspended in Portugal due to the ongoing global health crisis, that has not been possible.
But it was suggested that Newcastle had managed to force Benfica’s asking price down from £25 million to £15 million.
That could be seen as something of a bargain for Arsenal. Whilst Rafa has not had his best season this term, he had a sensational 2018-19, scoring 21 goals in 44 games.
Arsenal will be looking for a reduced spend this summer and at £15 million might view the Benfica star as a perfect buy.
