It’s all going horribly wrong for Arsenal at the worst possible time.
The Gunners were flying for much of the season and a Premier League top-four finish was on the cards.
But now, Arsenal have just fallen to three dismal defeats in a row against mid-table sides.

First, Crystal Palace hammered the Gunners 3-0, then Brighton ran out 2-1 winners over Mikel Arteta’s side.
And on Saturday, Arsenal fell to a 1-0 defeat at Southampton.
The Gunners lack strength in depth and, with several key players out, this has come back to haunt them.
Takehiro Tomiyasu has done superbly for Arsenal, but he’s been out and the Gunners have missed him.
Against Saints, Cedric Soares delivered a poor display which earned him 4/10s all round.
“A poor afternoon for the Portuguese right-back,” wrote football.london.
“Two awfully taken free kicks and a few moments where he was easily drawn in by Perraud’s attempts to wind him up.
“Was the full-back sacrificed this time instead of Nuno.”
The Evening Standard, meanwhile, wrote: “Had a pretty awful game on his return to Southampton.
“Set-pieces were particularly poor as he wasted two good opportunities.”
And 90Min also gave Cedric 4/10, writing: “Up against his former employers, the St Mary’s crowd delighted in his hopeless set piece deliveries before making way within an hour.”
In the summer window, Arteta must look at improving his strength in depth.
And right-back is one position he certainly needs to bolster.
While Cedric is a decent player with a great attitude, Arteta needs more quality throughout the squad if he wants to get the Gunners into the top four.
