Anthony Gordon is a highly-rated talent to come out of the Everton academy, who has featured 20 times already for the senior team.
But the Merseyside club decided to send him out on loan in January for the second half of the season.
The 20-year-old dropped down to the Championship with Preston North End and he started for them on Wednesday night.
He completed 80 minutes during his team’s 0-0 draw against QPR in the league, with some of the Preston fans on Twitter picking the youngster out as a huge positive from the match.
Liverpool-born attacker Gordon was at the heart of most Preston attacks without getting himself on the scoresheet.
The left-winger was exciting to watch with his direct running and skilful dribbling at the opposition, plus he narrowly missed one headed opportunity.

After some cameo appearances, it looks like he could become a regular in the XI and that’s exactly what Everton would have hoped for to help his development.
A selection of Preston supporters on social media are tipping the Everton-owned wide player to have a huge future ahead of him and suspect it’ll be unlikely they sign him on loan again next season.
Toffees manager Carlo Ancelotti has already used him in the past and it’ll be intriguing to see if he can push for a more important first-team role next season.
