It’s a big night for Gini Wijnaldum as Liverpool host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
It’s the first round of fixtures and the Reds welcome the French champions in what promises to be a highly entertaining game packed full of quality players.
The clash sees two in-form teams face off with both teams having won every league match in their respective divisions so far.

Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to kick off Liverpool’s European campaign with a positive result.
It will be interesting to learn his team selection, and one man hoping to get the nod to start with be Wijnaldum.
A big night for the Dutchman
Following the signings of Naby Keita and Fabinho, many expected to see £25 million Wijnaldum take up a place on the bench this season.
But the ex-Newcastle United man has taken the chances afforded to him by Klopp so far.
He has been keeping Fabinho out of the team, and also club captain Jordan Henderson.

He and James Milner have been excellent together in the engine room. There’s a good chance they’ll play together from the start against PSG.
Milner was superb in the competition last year, and Wijnaldum probably hasn’t done enough to be dropped.
Rabiot ‘audition’
It’ll be important for Wijnaldum to play well if it is to be believed that Liverpool do indeed want to sign Adrien Rabiot in January or next summer.
As reported by ESPN earlier this month, Klopp is an admirer of the Frenchman and is keen to sanction a free transfer for the player, since he has rejected multiple offers so far from PSG to stay.

Rabiot is a classy holding midfield player who orchestrates play from deep by breaking the lines with short passing or elegant dribbling.
Despite his strong start to the season, some believe the club can upgrade on Wijnaldum.
It’s a big night for him to show that there’s simply no need for such action.
